More About Me

Katherine is a recent graduate from Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of the Arts in Arts & Entertainment Management and a minor in English. She is a native of Norfolk, Virginia where her love for the arts began. Her background includes almost two decades of classical ballet training, including professional experience with Virginia Ballet Theatre and Todd Rosenlieb Dance. One of her most prized accomplishments is being selected to perform alongside the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in Swan Lake as part of the annual Virginia Arts Festival while still a student at the Governor’s School for the Arts in Norfolk, Virginia.

In addition to her background in dance, Katherine has interned with Principle Strategies LLC, a small, local Human Resources business while beginning her college studies part-time at Old Dominion University after graduating high school. She later returned to Principle Strategies LLC as an Executive Assistant to the CEO. She has also completed an internship with OVERTURE+, a streaming platform by theater producers for theater producers.

Following her internship with OVERTURE+, she was offered a position as a Marketing Assistant with OVERTURE+ partner GFour Productions, a Tony-Award®-winning theatrical production company. In her position as the Marketing Assistant, she is involved in social media marketing, group sales outreach, data entry of sales, and much more for the company’s many shows including Menopause The Musical® and MIDDLETOWN®.

Throughout her career, she hopes to utilize her skills and passion for the arts, writing, and marketing in the performing arts and entertainment industry. She is also a scoliosis and spinal fusion survivor, which she hopes to bring more attention and acceptance to in the dance world in her future positions as an arts leader.
